About the Book
This issue features a Colonial Christmas. The Jonathan Morgan house was built in 1739. We had the vision of this home decorated with natural and homemade decorations. Small touches of greenery were featured throughout the home and the guest house for a true colonial-inspired Christmas. My husband and I foraged the woods to find that perfect Charlie Brown Christmas tree along with greenery suited for an early American Christmas from the 18th century. As we decorated this home, the holiday spirit came to life. It truly felt like a “Little Women” moment when we lit the Christmas tree in the dining room featuring beeswax candles and a garland made with music paper.
