A young girl waiting for her new little brother or sister to be born gets the surprise of her life! A trip to visit her cousins that live on top of a huge mountain in New York State! She gets to go on adventures like going downtown New York to see the Statue of Liberty, and the Empire State Building to hiking down the mountian to Farmer Brown's store. Summer wouldn't be summer without swimming at the neighborhood pool and outside BBQ's by the lake.

Born and raised in the south suburbs of Chicago, I have always been a writer. I like to write my way in my style. My inspiration comes from nature, my kids and my emotions. I use my emotions and feelings to generate poetry, its like it was born into me. I also love to write children stories and diaries. I love to draw and paint and do all my own pictures for my books. I am a chakra meditator and strive to live in balance and also I meditate every day, I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren, and I love my 1910 Queen Anne Victorian home in the historic district of Kankakee, IL where I live with my husband of 23 years, 2 children, two cats and their 5 kittens, and my bird Ringo. I also have a daughter that is grown and I have 5 grandchildren from her.
