About the Book
In 2011, after over two decades of wandering the world and residing in homes stretching from Washington DC to Tokyo and Auckland to Edina, and any number of places in between, Dave and Janet finally put down roots on a cozy patch of land at the edge of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Sitting on several acres, Morgan Creek Farm is a bucolic Shangri-la, a peaceful and idyllic homestead that includes a rustic barn, an art studio, a comfortable bed-and breakfast and duo-plex, a pool, flower and vegetable gardens, a small orchard, and even a pond equipped with a fountain. And nestled amidst of all of this is a beautiful 100 plus-year-old farmhouse.
I took many pictures of it over the years and although I had never shared them with anyone except family and friends, I was unprepared (in a good way) for how, when they were flipped, reversed, and arranged on a page, they disappeared and merged into medleys of beautiful kaleidoscopic designs -- like the ones that appear in the following pages, when Morgan Creek Farm is reimagined..

As an artist for over forty odd years, my biggest gig so far has been as the official White House Portraitist. During the past two years, I have had the privilege of painting our DearLeader over a couple dozen times looking his authoritarian best in all kinds of remarkable settings. And now, after much anticipation, I have finally assembled those paintings into a 48 page full-color book that includes personal commentaries, as well. It has been truly an inspiration to be so close and present with the man with the golden touch, who in every sense of the phrase, is Making America Great Again.
