Alan Steele lives Tucson, Arizona. Since retiring from work as a book designer, advertising artist, and studio manager in New York, he has focused his passion on photography, painting and writing. His first three books, "Nature 1.0", "Nature 2.0", and "Dahlias" show his love of the Pacific Northwest's natural beauty. He recently completed "Desert Spirit", a book of images and words about the American Southwest, "A Lifetime of Monotone Photography", and "Sound Paintings."
