About the Book
Dedicated to ALL BRENTONIANS
...far and wide...past, present and future!
When plans were started for our schools' centennial celebration we decided that a 'family album' book of photographs to compliment the written history* would be our best approach. With thousands of pictures, great enthusiasm and very limited knowledge the project was initiated. Little more would have progressed had it not been for the enthusiasm, knowledge and dedication of an amazing Brent Alumni parent who stepped in and gave the project ALL his time and love - 'gratis'. From the thousands of photographs in the school archives many painstaking hours of selection ensued. What he has produced, we are sure, will provide the viewer many hours of reminiscing as well as a few facts. At the very least we hope this book will be a reminder to all that the essence of our School lies in the lives and influences of those who have lived, worked and studied here.
We have chosen not to show photographs of every class or graduate as these can be found in year books or on the walls of the Centennial Reflection Center and our apologies for any events of significance that have been left out...
Happy Viewing!
