About the Book
One photographer's journey in photography as experienced in a regional park in San Diego. This book includes photos, descriptions and free verse inspired by the park's natural beauty.
It has been four years into the photography quest for me. I do have a regular day job that I enjoy. It does however, take the bulk of my time. This presented a problem for me. To accelerate my training, I required a place close to work to perfect techniques. As it happens, Mission Trails is close.
At first the park was merely an object to record. It didn't take long to realize that Mission Trails is a place for mindful rest and quiet meditation. The park is full of wonder and beauty. "Magic" is usually how I describe it.
Now, I "paint" works with the colors and elements presented almost daily. The park is ever changing and a gracious mistress of nature. It is a place to be respected and held as precious.
