About the Book
Exploring the weight of the past that shapes the land and consciousness of its people. Above all, it is a reflection on the nature of freedom and belonging. 'The House of Trees' seeks to tease apart and recombine the strands of myth and history, politics and religion, mortality and immortality, reality and dream, that are facets of the human psyche and its journey to find a place to call home.
