Anna F. Brown

Anna Brown is a performance artist and poet who has performed in Chicago over more than three decades. She was co-founder of the performance trio Somebody's Daughters as well as an original member of the Chicago Poetry Ensemble, the “house band” for the first year of the Uptown Poetry Slam. She holds a pair of master’s degrees from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a doctorate from somewhere out in California.
