About the Book
For me, releasing a book project is akin to a musician releasing an album.
This zine, and zines in general, represents a mixtape in the analogy. These photos aren’t necessarily meant for anything but something I wanted to package and share with you. There’s no real theme or unifying element –– at least not one that’s signficant. If anything, the photos in this zine were taken before and after the photos in my second book project. But thats it.
In this zine I have, dispersed throughout, a couple of poems, a great short story inspired by karma and a lot of love. During this time I’d fallen in love with the color orange. Typing it out makes me realize how inaccurate the statement is. I’d mever fallen out of love with the color orange. I mean, my whole high school yearbook was started with the color. I just love orange. Beautiful color. Great drink. Speaking of things I love, let me just say here that I love Rihanna’s “Kiss It Better”. What a lovely song.
Enjoy the mixtape. Zine. Rihanna song. Strawberry milk. Nevermind.
