About the Creator
In the seminal spirituality of Nature I find my faith. In the current fragmented eden on earth I find pain, sorrow, fear. I seek the deep beauty of Earth’s life mystery, the promise of Eden. In the sacredness of plants I discover my roots, expose my heart and flow with the current of the universal Mind. Born in Scotland, childhood in Guyana. I performed as Maya, the Goddess of Magic with magician Doug Henning, toured Europe, the Mid East and Canada as a magician in my own right. I studied photography at the University of Rochester with William Giles. I worked on both sides of the lens amongst artists Edmund Soame, Richard Stodart, Dave Heath and others, where I sharpened my vision. I photographed my physically disabled brother using my camera to show the world his spirit and humanity. I long for humanity to work with Nature not against. Drama, dance, environmental & social justice workshop artist, researcher, poet, photographer.
