About the Creator
Alayne has a degree in Archaeology and Anthropology, as well as a Masters of Library and Information Science. She fell in love with Family History as a teenager, after years of listening to her grandparents telling the tales of their past. She has been a member of the Zurbrigg Family Reunion Executive for over 25 years, and is involved with Ontario Ancestors (formerly known as the Ontario Genealogical Society), where she recently took over the role of newsletter editor for the Elgin Branch. She lives in Kitchener, Ontario with her husband (Mike) and five children (Kaitlyn, Sarah, Bella, William and Ben). In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, puttering in the garden and watching over her small flock of backyard hens.
