Based out of Boston, Massachusetts, Ethan Johnson has been making work since 2017. With a photographic style largely influenced by his usage of a large format camera, much of Ethan’s recent work has been made digitally. His work currently focuses on his father by constructing situations and images which strive to explore the complex relationship between them as well as the softer, unspoken side of what it means to be a masculine individual in the modern world.
