Bay Area artist Kenney Mencher is Artist-in-Residence at the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts for summer 2016.
His show in the Grand galleries, "The Convict and a Boy," includes paintings created for a graphic novel about two characters, a young boy and a middle-aged convict-slash-businessman, traveling through a series of surreal landscapes.
During his residency, June 15-18, he will be creating new works for the project. People are welcome to stop by, watch and ask questions.
