This is a personal story by a second generation Canadian who had the opportunity to see the beautiful country her grandparents were forced to flee because of persecution. It is a simple journal with photographs and anecdotes of the journey itself and the reflections it created as Sharon understood what it meant for both sets of grandparents to abandon extended family and take young children away to a new land.
