About the Book
A Caregiver’s Perspective:
From Hearing the Diagnosis to Healing from the Diagnosis and Everything In Between
A Caregiver’s Perspective chronicles the diagnosis, recovery, and associated chaos of cancer from the perspective of a daughter who takes on the too-soon role of caregiver for her fifty-something mother, a courageous woman who has battled illness her entire life.
Part memoir and part how-to, MJ Santangelo's story will have you laughing and crying along with her while learning how to pull out fewer strands of your own hair if you find yourself taking care of a loved one with a serious illness.

About the Creator
MJ Santangelo
Connecticut, USA
MJ has always been an avid reader and wrote poems for a short period of time in her late teens. Then life happened—college, marriage and kids—and it wasn’t until her early thirties that she was able to pick up the pen again, and begin writing her first novella. She has yet to put the pen down. MJ lives in Connecticut with her husband, two sons and her pug, Boo. When she is not writing, you can find her reading, cleaning, cooking or driving someone somewhere and listening to music while she does it.
