I have been doing photography as a hobby for several years now (since 2006), with a peculiar preoccupation with shooting birds. My interest in photography, in fact, coincided with an interest in birdwatching, so doing bird photography was a perfect marriage of two hobbies. However, I enjoy viewing wildlife in general, so while I may have a soft spot for birds, other animals don't escape my attention either.

While I have immensely enjoyed photography as simply a hobby, I also aspire (Lord willing) to become a professional wildlife/nature photographer.
