The spring of Mexico City marks the end of a prolonged period of dryness. The green of the plants and trees, that was conspicuously absent for several months, begins to return with the increasing frequency of intermittent rains - allowing many varieties of flowers to bloom. It is not long before the season is quickly deposed by the full onslaught of the summer rains.
