Late January 2012 the Norwegian expedition vessel MS Fram made one of her most successful voyages to Antarctica, ever.
For several reasons this was a memorable expedition, however the compact and highly efficient and friendly team of Crew and Expedition Staff aboard Hurtigrutens' newest ship made every effort putting us guest in one breathtaking experience after the other.
The main part of our itinerary were spent in the Weddel Sea - the less visited Eastside of the Antarctic Peninsula. This is normally a very tough area to spend time in due to the unpredictable ice and weather conditions. When weather is perfect as on this expedition the reward is even higher...
