This book contains 100 portraits painted in oil as part of my 100 PORTRAITS project.

Readers of my blog, carolnelsonfineart.blogspot.com, were invited to send me a photo of themselves or a loved one. I chose these 100 people to be part of the project.

A new portrait was published on my blog nearly every day for a little over 100 days. Every ten portraits, a vote was conducted to see which portrait got the most votes for that group. At the end of the project the ten group winners were presented, and a final best of the best was chosen.

I had a wonderful time painting all these portraits and corresponding with people from all over the world who sent in photos.
