About the Book
From 1987-2011 I was a frequent visitor of the interlocking towers from Brunswick-Grafton and Cumberland-Glenwood, and if you were lucky enough to stumble upon the likes of operators such as Richard Long, Jim Vargo, Dave Findley, Jay Baer, Allen Brougham, Jim Stewart, Gary Swearman, Jim Hotchkiss, Larry Lee, Don Gallagher and a list of others, you were a fortunate railfan. These operators would let you hang out, fill you in on what trains were on the way and sometimes even let you throw the Armstrong Levers. Young railfans you don't know what you missed! But here it is on film, the Interlocking Towers of yesteryear, the former Baltimore and Ohio towers on today's CSX! Great times for railfans, never to be repeated!
