About the Book
The International Freeform Fiberart Guild is an online community.
We have an Annual FreeForm Challenge for our members to participate in.
Our members take a vote on what they want the theme to be for the next freeform fiberart challenge.
The winning theme is announced on January 1st. and we then have five months to design and create a freeform fiberart piece for that theme.
Our challenge entries are kept a secret until the 'show' is published in this book.
This year we had joint winning themes: Weather and Galaxies.
Our members were free to choose whichever theme they liked, or combine both themes together to create their artworks.
Twenty-seven members took up the challenge, and their wonderful Fiber Art Works are displayed in this book, along with a written statement by each artist about their work.
