About the Book
Eric and Steph Paciotti had "The Wedding With the 100 Year Flood Story Behind It" in the midst of the severe flooding to hit Colorado in September 2013.
Three days before their wedding, Eric & Steph learned that their originally planned western themed wedding at a ranch up in the mountains had become impossible; the road to the ranch had been washed away and the ranch itself was flooded.
The adventure began when, on three days notice, Eric and Steph were lucky enough to find a way to still hold their wedding amidst the flooding, right here in town, in Louisville, Colorado. The ceremony was held at Louisville's famous Steinbaugh Pavilion, which was not near any flooding. This location would allow an outdoor ceremony but with the needed coverage for getting married in the midst of epic flooding rains! Family and friends pitched in to decorate the pavilion with hay bales and other decorations to give a ranch style feel, further accented by the view of the railroad tracks behind. After the ceremony, the reception was held at Old Louisville Inn, right next door, which we joked qualified as Irish Pub Style Western since they even had brass tractor seats for bar stools!
As Seen by Janine: Eyes of the World Images is proud to have been able to help Eric and Steph fulfill their dream of a Western themed wedding and wedding photographs. This book is a collection of both their and my favorites from their engagement photos through the end of their "Wedding With the 100 Year Flood Story Behind It."
