The recipient of numerous arts grants, Lorraine Simms has been featured in solo and group exhibitions across Canada and the U.S. A graduate of the Ontario College of Art, she earned an MFA from Concordia University in 1990. Her paintings reference popular culture, mythology and children’s fables. She is currently Chair of the Fine Arts program at Dawson College in Montreal.
