About the Book
Maria Kazanskaya grew up in Samara, Russia, where she attended the Samara Art College, then obtained her MFA at the Stroganoff Institute in Moscow. Today she lives in California. She has had shows in the United States, Canada and Russia, has illustrated two books of poetry and designed the logo for the "Teneta" literary contest. Her works can be found in public and private collections in Russia, the United States, Canada, Germany, and Estonia.
Dr. Boris Bernstein is an emeritus professor of the Estonian Academy of Arts and a well-known art historian and critic. His works include the monograph Pictorial Image and the Art World, many books and articles, as well as the memoir "The Old Well".
